| Road Trip 2008 My road trip started on October 13th at about 10 am from my house in Belleville, IL. I was heading down to see my dad in Mesa, Arizona because he had been sick. My sister in Houston said she might want to meet me up there and I told her I would just come pick her up. I was surprised when she said OK. So off to Houston I went. After I picked up Claire we headed out passing through Santa Fe and then on to Mesa. Our youngest sister flew in from Denver to meet up with us. I thought my dad was going to have a heart attack when we showed up. I pulled in to the carport and revved the bike. I got off and started ponding on the back door. He couldn't believe it when he opened his door and two off his kids were standing there. After about an hour our other sister Terry showed up and dad was in tears all over again. I didn't get to stay long because i didn't have a lot of vacation left but was happy I did it. On the way back I went through Sedona, Flagstaff, Rosewell NM and then home. Roswell was pretty dead on a Sunday so I didn't spend no time there. Gallery Home |
